Officially have seen the whole movie

My cousin wanted to see this in the theater since the local Cinemark was showing it, so I thought I'd tag along since I have never seen it. I was captured right at the beginning with DeMille's intro. I thought I'd get bored at some point, but this movie was so entertaining; I hadn't realized two hours had gone by when we got the intermission. Beautiful film! I'm so mad I haven't viewed it until now.

It's my favorite movie of all time and I couldn't miss such an opportunity to finally see it on the big screen. I was really impressed with the egyptian clothing.

I concur - that opening 2, 5, 10, 15, etc. minutes are captivating, emotional and I marveled. This was my first time seeing it (theaters) and I suppose that's a blessing it worked out that way. And I mean from the get-go - the overture wasn't too long which can bother some ppl and what an exciting Paramount opening, possibly the best I've ever seen. And you're right about the time flying by and being unaware of it - I actually felt they could have ended it at the intermission and it'd be a solid feature.

I never think about the future, it comes soon enough

I read the title and immediately erupted into laughter. Only because Ive owned this movie for years and havent gotten around to finishing it yet. Its not that I dont like it (because it's excellent so far), it's just hard to watch a movie with a long runtime while balancing life with a wife and two kids lol. I still havent finished the Two Towers yet either lol
