Question re Apache attack

I've been trying to remember a Western I saw when I was young which featured a Native American attack on a stopped wagon train. The moment I remember is that the first you know of the attack is when one of the female settlers receives an arrow through the heart, which I found quite disturbing at the age I saw it. I posted a query on the 'I Need to Know' board and someone suggested this fim. As this film features an Apache attack on a wagon train, could this be it? Thanks in advance.

There is no such scene in this film. The attack on the settlers wagon train occurs off screen. The Apache attack on the small cavalry unit with wagons towards the end of the film has no such scene in it, either. Try "Bend of the River" (1952), retitled "Where the River Bends" for its UK release.

This reminds me of the Apache attack in Taza, Son of Cochise (1954) near the beginning of the movie that sets of the chain of events. I think that Taza, Son of Cochise (1954) was made in 3D so many scenes had vivid motions to take full advantage of the 3D.
