Marie Windsor

I thought Marie was just great. She outright steals every scene she’s in. Every time she spoke her lines were pure acid, and she didn’t hide the fact – from the audience, anyway – that she was an unrepentant, scheming manipulator whose only concern was attaining the good life. Or, as Johnny put it so well, she had a dollar sign where her heart ought to be. She appeared in so many films, and I can’t claim to have seen even most of them but this has to be one of her best roles.

I Agree! I thought Marie was: "Brilliant" in this!! But FOR ME she has ALWAYS been a scene stealer!

ironically after watching: "THE KILLING", Last Night.. i am watching: "The Narrow Margin" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0044954/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_125) - which also has the 'stunning Marie Windsor in it!

Agreed. She gave the most natural, realistic portrayal in the film. The actor that played her husband was terrible.

She's great in everything! And so is Elisha Cook Jr.!

Agreed. Their scenes together were fantastic! My favorite line was when Marie denies she only wants a cushy life "as long as I have a big handsome intelligent brute like you". That absolutely cracked me up!

So true!

"The Narrow Margin" being another of her best.

She really was absolutely terrific. I DESPISED her character, which is the sign of a great performance. I was soooo happy when she got hers.

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

She was amazing and so was her character. The film wouldn't have been half as entertaining without her.

Such a fabulous performance, surely one of the great screen bad girls. Her scenes with wimpy husband Elisha Cook Jr (would anyone _really_ invite him to be part of such a heist?) are among the most memorable in this terrific movie.
