An Oscar nomination!?
I was startled to see this was up for a Best Original Screenplay Oscar. Terrible writing. The acting is good but such a ridiculous story. Louis Jourdan was two years away from Gigi. So handsome!
It should have been up for a 'RAZZIE' it was so bad !. I really like Doris Day but she has made some stinking films.....Ballad of Josie, Midnight Lace, It Happened To Jane are three that come to mind.
shareI agree about "Josie," but "Jane" nd "Lace" are good, entertaining flicks.
I like Midnight Lace - certainly better than Julie.
