Inspiration For Other Movies?

Perhaps The Birds, Phase 4, Empire Of The Aunts(with a hot and sweaty Joan Collins!)? Or too much credit for a z movie? Think it possible that a cheap, forgotten movie can be ripped off without lawsuits?

Best part of this film is when the birds 'attack'. It's quite obvious someone is standing just out of shot throwing already dead (and quite stiff) birds at the car.

Definitely not The Birds, which was based on a Daphne du Maurier novelette of the same name published in 1952. That story could have inspired parts of BEAST, though.
