Colour

Why wasn't this film made in colour? A Howard Hughes production, John Sturges

as director, great looking stars & a beautiful coral reef. It cried out for

glorious technicolour!

reply

um...it WAS filmed in glorious technicolor!

where did you see it in black and white?

reply

It was on TV 2 weeks ago in black & white & a crappy print it was too!

On ABC in Sydney, Australia.

reply

Did you view it in a time machine? Like back before 1975 or something?

All color, all the time.

reply

A time machine? I wish I had one mate!

The ABC here must have had a bodgy print!!

reply

Well it was on channel 2 last night the print said Technicolor but it was shown in black and white, and to top il all they stopped 14 min short from the end because of the news of the new Pope! and left us without the end, I have to find channel 2 website and complain, I wonder if they'll put it on again.

That would be the same one that I recorded off channel 2 years ago.
They will show it again because channel 2 repeat their late night films
in cycles.

reply

ok thanks, hope they repeat it sometime.

If you had a time machine you could go back and sit around the set of this picture.

reply

Easier to watch it on BBC Iplayer in glorious colour than use a time machine.

It's that man again!!

reply

not exactly glorious, they where pretty bleak.so i could have needed some restoration but probebly among the best print out there.

Whole movie purpose was to show JR in her RED low plunging bathing suit, with straps from her aqua lung showing her assets to their FULL potential. Ol' Howie Boy was quite the perv!

reply

Perv? He sounds healthy to me! Are you male? Heterosexual?

Perv would be like, you know, Golden Showers, or accepting being an incel.

reply

it was filmed in Technicolor but there are around also B/W copies (even on DVD in a any countries)
