John Candy "Only The Lonely" (1991)

The plots of these two films are very similar. In particular, both Marty and Candy "can't stop talking" on their dates.

I recently just rewatched "Marty, I first watched it within a year or two of "Only The Lonely" (which I saw in the theater on original release) and I'm surprised I didn't pick up on the similarities before.

I love both movies, but I think I prefer "Only The Lonely."
