A good movie even for todays standards..

I found the movie very well scripted... and acting was very good.. Good chance for Bogie fans to see him as a bad guy... I have yet to see a bad Bogie flick..

Today's Standards? I see today's standards getting lower.

Well-scripted and acted indeed. The dynamics between the characters and their own personalities unfolding emphasising tension.

"I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not".
