Heston's Eyebrow & Other Discoveries

This is the first time I've seen this movie.
Also my first exposure to Yma and Nicole Maurey. This really should be much better kown than it is. I enjoyed it greatly and really wish it had been expanded to a series. I did not kow beforehand that it may have influenced the Indiana Jones franchise, but saw immediately there was a strong similarity. I do think Heston's charactor is a rougher, more course personage, but all the more real considering the storyline. Bad boy with a vein of good kind of thing.

I don't recall seeing him sport the 'one eyebrow' look in any of his other movies. Did I miss something or was this just for 'Incas'? It does give him the solid brow-ridge look. A statement about his rough, manly charactor? It was more noticeable in some scenes than others.

Very glad to have found this gem.

What does the 'one eyebrow' look mean?

It means that Heston has a hairy bit between his two eyebrows, James, giving the impression that he has 'one eyebrow.'

The internet is for lonely people. People should live. Charlton Heston

This sounds a rather highbrow discussion for this board.
