Movies About Committing the 'Perfect Crime'

Does anyone have any recommendations for good movies in which the characters try to get away with committing the "perfect murder" or any other "perfect crime" (bank heist, jewelry heist, art heist, etc.)? I am looking for some good "whodunnits" or "howcatchems" ... where the "perfect crime", of course, unravels before the viewer's eyes. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You could always watch the remake of this film called A Perfect Murder with Gwyneth Paltrow and Michael Douglas. That is one movie. After watching this movie after watching A Perfect Murder, I can't be sure which I like more. There is a major difference in how the perfect murder is setup between the two movies so that makes a difference on making a decision. I really do believe that A Perfect Murder is a remake for for the 90's generation and holds up well. There is more involved in the remake and this movie really stays within the limitations of what could work in a play format. There isn't much difference as in tone and style between the two movies. Both movies are well done and well acted. The ending is also different too between the films but in a way they had to be different due to how both plots are played out. There is definite evidence that A Perfect Murder is based on Dial M For Murder and really is just updated. See both movies and you decide.

The Good Thief, which is a remake of Bob Le Flambeur although I haven't seen the latter.

I watched this today, and I found it amusing that they were talking about how there should be a "perfect crime" film that also combined tennis... It occured to me that Woody Allen might have gotten an idea after rewatching this film? - Match Point, anybone? :P

As someone else recommended, Rope is great. However, it is not a "whodunnit" type of movie and the suspense is not the lead up to the crime like a lot of heist movies. We know who the killers are from the very beginning, the suspense is if and when they will get caught.
