Movies About Committing the 'Perfect Crime'

Does anyone have any recommendations for good movies in which the characters try to get away with committing the "perfect murder" or any other "perfect crime" (bank heist, jewelry heist, art heist, etc.)? I am looking for some good "whodunnits" or "howcatchems" ... where the "perfect crime", of course, unravels before the viewer's eyes. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Strangers on a Train, also from hitchcock and also pretty damn good. If you haven't, you should really check this out.

3 years earlier, Hitchcock Did, "Rope!" The quintessential movie about committing the perfect crime. The film was inspired by the Loep and leopold case in 1924.

Who's Minding the Mint is a bit of a comedy; and if you enjoy it, you should check out The Lady Killers and The Lavender Hill Mob. All three are great movies!

I don't see anything about "A Perfect Murder" in 1998. It is this story starring Michael Douglas, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Viggo Mortensen.
It actually says,"A remake of the Alfred Hitchcock classic Dial M for Murder (1954)."

I re-watched Double Indemnity recently on TV and giggled laughed by backside off with that scene the main character had with the former lawyer in prison, when the former lawyer explained the concept of double indemnity, and ended her little speech with "Kinda makes you feel all warm and tingly inside, don't it?".

I think you might be talking about Double Jeapody with Tommy Lee jones. Double Indemnity has Fred MacMurray and Barbara Stanwyck

Vertigo, but perfect crime isn't the main thing in that film.

What about Body Heat? I remember that being a GREAT movie..

Woody Allen's film, Match Point, was good. At least, I thought so.
