Another fun RKO film from the 50's

This is a fun film. But, couldn't they find a better actor to play Katoonai? Not for a second did I feel he was an Indian. Also Price is supposed to be playing a hired killer. Who would pay him money to kill anyone? In the middle of the gift shop in front of dozens of people he makes it known he is going for a drive with the woman he is planning to kill on the same drive. At least anyone watching this now knows what to do if you have a loose wire moving around sending out dangerous sparks.

Yes, it's a very fun movie, for those of us willing and able to suspend disbelief and go with the flow. And yes, Price's character (Paul Adams) was too inept to have been a professional hit man, but in his serious moments toward the end he was quite menacing. As for the guy who played Katoonai Tiller (Steve Darrell), I found him more believable as an Indian than Betta St. John was as Mary, his daughter, unless possibly Mrs. Tiller had been a Caucasian woman.
