Can't believe no one has mentioned this legendary nut job is in the film.

He doesn't show up until about 50 minutes in but it's worth the wait.

Timothy was uncontrollable in more ways than one and I just had to keep rewinding to watch all his tics again and again.

Priceless.

Timothy Carey was great!

Sitting at the table stealing the scene, gritting his teeth, facial expressions, etc.

People just outside the norm certainly take the boredom out of life.

Absolutely. That's exactly what I was thinking when I saw him in this. He was pretty much the same eccentric character when filmed just a year later for The Killing.
