Puts me in mind of...

Received 'Sherlock Holmes' this Christmas. It has been such a delight to view, so much fun! Many of Ronald Howard's traits remind me of Matt Smith, the eleventh actor to play Dr. Who. They both possess an easy charm that is most pleasing.

Horrors! This posting has been sitting hear for nearly 2 and a half years and no one has corrected the reference to an actor playing "Dr. Who". There are TV series titled Dr. Who, on which someone occasionally asks the question "Dr. Who?" when the character known as The Doctor introduces himself. However, the only character named Dr. Who was played by Peter Cushing in the 1965 movie "Dr. Who and the Daleks" (based on the series, of course, but not considered canon by nerds like me).

Too much pedantry... The character was actually credited as "Doctor Who" for ages on television, well into (at least) Tom Baker's era.

That is a lovely Christmas present to receive. I've just watched 'The Case of the Christmas Pudding' episode from the series and have rated it 8/10.
