Non-PC Dialog and Actions

I liked the movie.

I got a kick out of how, in hindsight, our current "offended" snowflakes would howl at it.

1. Stanwyck being warned by husband AND son to "not be so hysterical." brought me back to the OJ Trial and Prosecutor Marcia Clark whining how "hysterical" was an anti-woman term.
2. All the smoking, including Stanwyck accepting one from the murderer and would be rapist.
3. Condescending attitude toward Mexican police incompetence.

That said, I was impressed at the son's many talents and bravery. Not one whine out of him. Much better than the kid in "Shane." He would grow up into a hell of a man.
