This was an entertaining film and she was the reason. Why doesn't she get the respect? Beautiful, athletic and she delivers on her lines. The script and direction did not do her justice. I regret that I never made it to Cypress
Gardens.
I suppose you're referring to Esther Williams. Yes, she did what she did very well. She wasn't a great actress by any means but the movies she did weren't meant to be anything more than an excuse for an aquatic show. Still I found most of them both interesting and entertaining. I tend to like movies that challenge my mind but every now and then it's nice to just tale something in that requires little to no effort.

Esther is great in this. the script is pretty weak but her presence makes up for it.
