No one ever asks this question

Why doesn't anyone on the ship that is trying to find this man ever ask what he looks like? If they had the ship's doctor might have thought to take Ruth to Jack while he was in sick bed.

reply

Ha Ha. Good Point!

She couldn't have said much more than "he's thirty-two years old, six feet tall, has dark hair, and brown eyes". That description probably would fit a few dozen guys on the ship. There would be no reason for the doctor to think it might be the same guy as the ship's third officer.

reply

And she might even have kept a photo of him in her purse, though I guess if they just got married maybe there wasn't time.

reply

Agreed, there wasn't enough time, they got married pretty fast.

I would've thought they may have had a snapshot taken when they got hitched. But obviously not.

reply

Heck, she didn't even get a ring!

reply

She could have told them he looked just like Dr. Alex Stone from "The Donna Reed Show", but it wasn't on yet.

reply

It was all done in a rush as part of the plot to make her look crazy. He would surely never have allowed a photo.
