Anyone remember those old Classic Illustrated and Classic Illustrated Junior comic books? I always thought that Shaye Cogan and James Alexander, this film's rather bland romantic leads, look liked they stepped out of one of those comics. Anyone else feel the same?

Yes. Many of the actors do actually.

I've seen re-prints of the 'Classic Illustrated' comics on newsagent's shelves in recently years. They're now reproduced in a glossy finish whereas collectors will have them in their original matt.
