Name a film scene in cinema better than the swing scene

No spoilers

When Watanabe is swinging in the snow on that swing, that right there is cinema. It's everything movies should strive to be, beautiful, emotional and symbolic. Theres not a scene i've witnessed as emotional and symbolic as that scene. I challenge anyone in a friendly way to name a scene as beautiful as that one in any film, contemporary or from the past. Maybe Raging Bull has some challengers but thats the best seen i've encountered. Definitely the most beautiful scene in cinema.

I love the swing scene, very powerful. However, I think the most powerful and touching scene in the entire movie is when the piano player plays the song and Watanabe starts crying while singing it. Amazing.

Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King is the greatest movie ever made. It's True!!

One of the few scenes to ever make me cry completely was Seijuro's funeral in Grave of the Fireflies.

The shot in Night of the Hunter of Shelley Winters underwater was breathtaking.

Are the Armageddon swing shots in Terminator 2 a homage to Ikiru?

The scene at the end of Umberto D where he tries to hide from his dog under the bridge, and the dog runs right up to him. For whatever reason, it chokes me every time I see it.
"You keep using that word...I do not think it means what you think it means..."

forrest gump the flying leaf (especially the one at the end)

That was a wonderful scene with wonderful, moving lyrics of a song that appears to be "Life is Brief" and was sung earlier in the movie. I can't seem to find that on the soundtrack.

As mentioned, the song and the music is the key to the emotionality of the scene. But you cant ignore the effect of the beautiful black and white picture, that snow and darkness seem to form a perfect counterpart for each other.

Well some good scenes have already been mentioned so I'll pick this one:

(possible spoilers) Invasions barbares, Les (2003): the song is L'amitié by Françoise Hardy and the scene is the ending.

We see all the friends of the protagonist in slowmotion one by one .. in that moment you may recall the earlier line: "It's been a pleasure to share this little life with you, I will always remember your smiles". The movie fades to a beautiful end with that wonderful french song.

Only two come to mind right now which are real good movie moments like the swing shot, which I love but thought was too short!

Casablanca: The Marseilles beating the Nazi song in Rick's Cafe

25th Hour: When Edward Norton gets reunited with ROsario Dawson in the ending montage. Great timing with narration and music.
