Terroism

The definition of terrorism, that so many Ameicans like to use, is involving civilians in acts of war - like those at the World Trade Center. What greater act of terrorism than dropping an atomic bomb on a city full of civilians? Oh, they were only Japanese. That's different.

We are all entitled to our opinions on the matter, but unless you actually lived through that era of World War and bomb shelters, it's mostly irregardless. We can never walk in their shoes, so don't be so quick to judge. Objective thinking (which I feel the originator of this post was not doing) is a necessity on matters like this. I'm certainly not defending terrorists, but like the previous poster before me said, this was war.
Ideally there is no war. Ideally nobody has to die. And ideally we aren't persecuted for our father's sins.

that's what they say everytime they overreact and somebody thinks it was wrong

The only way I can respond to this incredibly stupid post is that because of Col.Tibbets, I, my 2 brothers, our children and grandchildren all exist in this world. Japan bombed Pearl Harbor on Dec 7, 1941. They brought us into the war. They would not give up. President Truman knew a full scale invasion of Japan would cost thousands of American and Jappenese Lives. The war could have gone on till 1948 with my Father never coming home in 1946. How any ignorant person can equate the heroic act of the Enola Gay with the sub-human creatures that attacked the US on 9/11/01 is beyond belief.
