I'm going to have to say Barbara Crampton.
I also have to give a nod to Kimberly Simms, who played her from 1989 to 92. Following Krista Tesreau in the part was an impossible situation.
Krista Teserau was my favorite. I got used to Kimberley Simms in the role, but didn't get too invested in anyone who played the part after her.

Krista Tesreau proves that the first is always the best, but Kimberley Simms showed us that a recast can be just as effective! Both actresses were superb during their reigns as Mindy (Tesreau fitting it better with the original Four Musketeers while Simms possessed mucho chemistry with Vincent Irizarry's Nick!). I'm calling it a tie! Crampton was miscast (although I loved her Leanna Love role on Y&R!) and Ann Hamilton was out of her league!
shareI liked all of the actresses & the Mindy character until Barbara Crampton played her. And I liked her on Y&R & B&B, but she was terrible as Mindy. The only time that I liked her as Mindy is when she didn't like Julie for Dylan. I go back & forth between who my favorite Mindy is. I like both KT & KS as her. I also liked AH. I think that I'm probably the only person that didn't mind her as Mindy.
