We all know what was happening here, but certain things were not shown. Excellent movie ahead of its time with great acting !

Yes and not usually characters that you see Doris Day or Ginger Rogers play. I am rating it an 8 of 10 where as I rated Mississippi Burning 9 of 10.

If he could have gotten more parts like that, maybe he would have stayed in acting. I do remember his son Ron saying once when asked what he father might have ended up doing had he not gone into politics that he (Ron) thought he might have wound up hosting something like Unsolved Mysteries. I took that as a pretty nice compliment and I also could have seen him doing something like that. Rest in peace, Mr. President.

Yes -definitely ahead of its time but well done in spite of its flaws.
