Nancy the Harpist

In many scenes of the "boys in the band" at the Tropicana, one can spot the one "girl' -
Nancy, the harpist. I've always thought she softens the comedy, and complements the
musical numbers, as she's so lovely. Not a great beauty, but such a warm, sweet face.

I always wondered what her character privately thought of Lucy, as she witnessed so
many stunts. She's even on the plane in the baby/cheese caper (and later a witness
to Lucy's "testimony" as whether there really was a baby on board).

I also enjoy the few moments when Nancy gets a bit of a solo and plays the harp at
the beginning of one of Ricky's numbers (very early in the series).

I researched her, and she really was part of Desi's orchestra. Sadly, she died prematurely
in 1967.
