Did you find the intro added or detracted from the film?
Barry Sullivan's prolonged monologue, the stretching of the rubberband, etc....kinda annoyed me a little bit. I don't think it holds up as well as the rest of the film.
shareIn my case, it thrilled me and made me all the more excited about what I would see.
shareIt was an introduction to the character that also established an insight into the character of the character.
