What a FUN movie!

Great chemistry between Greer and Mitchum and performances by all involved. Funny, fast paced, lots of chases and fists thrown. Was over and done with much too soon!

MUCCCCCCCCCCh too soon! So much so that I want to see it again and again! :) THEIR CHEMISTRY was really something. Jane Greer needs to have "her day". At least she is having one tonight on TCM with a bunch of her flicks in succession.

She was so beautiful, in this film and in "Out of the Past". And Mitchum was so cool, sexy, handsome - loved him to death!

TCM rocks!

ABSOLUTELY stuck on Jane Greer forever! I went to Amazon and snapped up what I could that she was in! hehehe

I've pretty much been neutral on Robert Mitchum, but he was way too gorgeous in this movie, especially wearing his hat, to remain neutral any longer!

Pretty good definitely

This was indeed a great little movie, and when I say little, I mean it. It has a total run time of just 71 minutes which I liked. It kept the pacing on the move. Nobody had time to get bored. I wish more movies now would adopt that shorter length.

This movie premiered on June 29, 1949 which makes it appropriate I watched it on the 74th anniversary yesterday. It didn't seem like a movie from that era at all. It has a different quality about it that could easily set it another decade.

The filming locations in Mexico were amazing and were the majority of the movie. Robert Mitchum and Jane Greer were fun to watch with good chemistry. Now I want to watch their other pairing together -- Out of the Past.

I happened upon the movie by accident, and I'm glad I did.
