did Rosa die at the end?


great film , just finished watching it
was that introduction at the start absolutly nessary ,King vidor was a silent director and could has bettered the sequence without it, but was wondering if bettes charactor Rosa haddied in the film, i just checked cinemorgue.com to see if indeed she had and there is no indercation that she did can anyone help me?

Yeah, she died... her husband closed her eyes after checking her pulse, which means, that she is pretty dead.

I think the studion made him put the thing at the beginning. Just like the studio makes the abortionist an "attorney at law"

Thanks for clearing up the "Attorney" part. I was puzzled as to why she'd visit one, and why Lewis would so angrily take her out of there... and have the power to do so.
