A good example of a film that would benefit from being edited down to the regulation 90 minutes. For those with a taste for comedy based on a man planning to murder his wife (and why not?) I'd suggest trying the superior Divorzio all'italiana (1961), and in a broader context of murderous black comedy, Kind Hearts and Coronets (1949).

I wasn't aware there was a regulation requiring movies to be ninety minutes.

This version of "Unfaithfully Yours" is miles above "Kind Hearts and Coronets". Its length was perfect.
