...where Bowie shoves the guy away from his car - very similar to Gun Crazy in the tension it creates. Not accusing anyone of ripping anyone off or even influencing the other (Gun Crazy came out, according to IMDB, after They Live By Night, and even if they were influenced by the latter, they definitely took it up a notch with their continuous shot). Just saying it's another great scene. Great film, love Nicholas Ray!
