It was so good at reviewing the feeling we have of needing something alive, glorying in the beauty of it, caught up in the front of it, that respectful of this life in it; hating to take it at the same time.

But at the same time, I hated it I hated it I hated it by the ending!

I kind of have to agree that this was one way to really get the readers and the viewers attention, In that way it sure seems like a plot device.

I understand it's the truth in many aspects of life, but well I'm looking for happiness from now on.

Poignant sorrow, piercing sorrow, that just happens without having to look for it!

In the real story as it happened in the woods, Jody was a girl. Marjorie Rawlings wrote about the people of Cross Creek that she knew.

Cross Creek was a much better version of this story than what we have here.
