I forget the artist guys name but for some reason I really wanted Kate to end up with him. Like Glenn Ford had his chance and screwed it up, ya know. I just wanted her to leave him and then get together with the artist cause he was so adorable. Mean, but adorable. Does anyone agree or disagree?
shareI agree absolutely with most of the comments here. The onscreen chemistry between the artist and Kate was really strong and I don't know why the writers didn't give their relationship a better storyline. Kate had much more in common with him than smug, self-absorbed lighthouse guy. It's true that the artist's dialogue was ridiculous at times ('I bet you're not even a woman'! - oh, pleeese!) but Dane Clark was the kind of actor who could pull it off. He was also gorgeous!
