Lynn Bari as a Femme Fatale

As I was watching this film, I kept picturing Barbara Stanwyck in the role of Nurse Jordan. Actually, I couldn't see much difference between Lynn Bair's performance or the imagined performance of Barbara.

I agree that that role would have been a perfect fit for Barbara Stanwyck but I've always found Lynn Bari an exciting actress and she certainly plays the role of Nurse Jordan well. And I like her smile. 😊

I don't think it would have given Barbara Stanwyck nearly enough to do, unless they rewrote it to focus on her domination and manipulation of Vincent Price's character. But Stanwyck played roles similar to Anabel Shaw's in "Sorry, Wrong Number" and especially "Witness to Murder".

When Lynn Bari was kissing Vincent Price in profile I thought she had the look of Ava Gardner. This my favorite of Lynn Bari's roles that I have seen so far and proves that she could be a real femme fatale.
