does anyone else think that kim hunter looks like teresa wright?

(if that is her on the cover)....looking at the cover, i thought, "oh wow teresa wright is in this!"

My mother went to high school with Ms. Wright, so I have always paid special attention to her films. I don't know if I think Kim Hunter looks like her. But I think they could be somewhat interchangeable in their films. Both were great actresses who starred in many wonderful movies, starting at very young ages. They were born withina few years of each other (1922 and 1918, respectively))and died within a few years of each other (2005 and 2002,respectively). They both lived to ripe old ages, and kept working until close to the end. Just like Sylvia Sidney and several others from a previous era. Do yourself a favor and watch some of their films.

Yes indeed, some scenes with Hunter brought to mind Wright in The Best Years of our Lives.

The Pride of the Yankees was just on, so yeah, there's a resemblance.

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

I hadn't thought it before but I can kind of see where you're coming from. I also didn't realize she's 'Stella' from a Streetcar named Desire. While watching the movie the thing that kept going through my mind was, why does she have a British accent when she's supposed to be American. I was certain she was a British actress until I realized who she was.

Never thought that but yes. Hunter and Wright looked very much alike, at least around the time this film was made.

Yes, there is a resemblance. The should have played sisters.
