My favorite Christmas Movie of All Time!

I've loved this film my entire life, every moment is wonderful and both Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed were perfect in it.
This film gives me every feeling imaginable and that's what I love most about it.

I feel the same!

Me too

Same here. :)

reply

Yeah, it's probably my favorite as well.

reply

Well it certainly ends at Christmas but does that really make it a Christmas Movie? The final feelgood factor, perhaps. If so I'd put it as second after Alastair Sim's Scrooge (a not entirely dissimilar film).

reply

Yeah Its on my top 5 Christmas films. Its a masterpiece.

reply

My favorite too! I enjoy watching all Christmas movies though.

well i know it's a christmas tradition in america, probably the most so of all christmas movies, and i'm happy it seems to have become a tradition in my country, sweden, as well, i've seen it air on several christmas now, what an incredibly moving flick, and how even much more rich it might have been before all the spoofs and similar themes that has come afterwards, i love the "married with children" spoof "it's a bundyful life", i recognise one actor in this as the wheel chair bound man in "key largo", that movie has probably one of my favorite movie dialogues ever. a clip from this is used in "national lampoon's christmas vacation" and spoofed in "family guy". this year must have been the first time i saw this from the beginning, i didn't know before that george bailey could be a bit of a dick before the angel came along.
