Jean Arthur was incredibly sexy in this movie. Far sexier than anything I've ever seen for a 40's Hollywood film.
I've always loved Jean Arthur who is one of the most unique, zany, attractive Hollywood actresses from the 40's - 50's.
I agree with you that this is one sexy movie.
And if you haven't seen Jean Arthur in The Devil and Miss Jones and Talk of the Town, give yourself a treat. She's very appealing in both.
I second Liberalmedia's opinions and would like to add that if you think she is sexy here, then check her out in Easy Living (1937) between the favorable lighting and her legs she never looked better - or more alive.
sharei have to agree, i have seen many of her movies, but just watching this one for the first time, and i am in awe of how beautiful she looks in this movie, she also seems to be slightly thinner or something , her legs, WOW, OMG her legs, dont get me started hahaha, she was so incredibly beautiful//// i love her, she is a great actress and so good in this movie...

shareI was thinking that myself; women in their 40s back then didn't tend to look like women in their 40s do today, with all of the "aftermarket" processes that exist now to perserve your looks, but Jean looked very edible!
