The first movie I remember seeing on tv

This was so cool when I was 5. Never have forgotten this movie. I still love it.

Yeah, me too! This was the first of the classic Universal monster movies I ever saw. I sneaked into the living room and stayed up til 1:00 in the morning watching it on a local show called "Frank and Drac". I had the volume turned down so low I could barely hear it. My parents never found out! Ahh the memories...

Yup, I remember waking up in the at 1:00 in the morning to try to watch this as well. I often remember them not showing it aas often as the other Universal Frankenstein film and that always dissapointed me because I loved this movie the most with the Monster clash. It is also suprising because it is the best quality of the later films, I think, after Son of Franenstein

It might be among my first too.

When I was kid in the early 60's, there was a Saturday afternoon program called SHOCK THEATER. They showed all the Universal monster movies and also all the great horror and sci-fi films of the fifties. We were glued to the set every Saturday. I didn't see these films for decades until the early nineties when they were released on VHS. Now I have the whole Legacy collection and still love watching them at age 52 as much as I loved them when I was seven years old.

You're lucky Tony because in 1943 when this movie came out, only the very wealthy had TVs in their homes
