Inner Sanctum films

I enjoy those Inner Sanctum movies and Dr. Death is one of my favorites, despite its plot and logic problems. Sporting tony wardrobe and rakish mustache, Lon Chaney, Jr. is quite effective in a (relatively) conventional leading man role. Joan Collins lookalike Patricia Morrison makes an impression as femme fatale. Resembling Errol Flynn, a nervous David Bruce does a nice job as the fall guy. And playing a somewhat unnecessary character, J. Carroll Nash is irritating as the tenacious, hard-bitten detective.

I take it that Inner Sanctum refers to mystery movies that had been adapted from the radio program of that name. This is the first of those Lon Chaney films in that series that I have watched. It is enjoyable. I've rated this 7/10. I look forward to seeing more in the series.
