I confess to not being an authority on guitars. But I have never seen anyone play a guitar like Corinna Mura (with her hands so high up on the neck) before or since. Is this a particular style, or was it something only she did?

If you strum further up the neck you get a softer, more gentle sound. Incidentally I saw the movie last night and I picked up on your post because I was watching Corinna’s guitar playing during the scene. She obviously could actually play because her left hand is playing exactly the right chords (Em-Am- B7 then into E major etc).
