my dvr decided to cut this movie off with about 1 minute left..
Frankie was talking to the fat detective in his apartment and
the detective was explaining everything.. how he loved the chick..
what happens next? anything?
I assume they weren't so stupid as to leave out Cregars death scene but if they were he committed suicide drinking poison. Next scene is at the club where the movie opened Gable & Mature are dancing and his buddies, at the table, making some cracks about what a lucky guy he is

I know it's logical to assume it was Suicide but didn't Keiger mention that an MD gave him the small bottle? Could he just have taken something to zone out temporarily (like a cocaine mix of some kind).
