Santa Fe Trail needs restoration

Just saw this movie on TCM and it needs to be restored especially since one of the stars is Ronald Reagan.

Try requesting it at Warner Archive. They might release it through that if at all.

Just saw this film on Amazon Instant Video..I was shocked at how crappy a print it was...I would think a major studio like Warner would have remastered a new print of this...

I agree it should be restored. It is a very good movie.

This movie is public domain so this is unlikely to happen. No company is going to invest in a restoration when anyone is free to copy the results.

A half-doz actors were in "Dodge City" about 4 years earlier and DC looks ten times as good.
