People who have watched this movie...

First of all let me just say that this movie had the best cast EVER. Even if you put Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro, Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep in a movie you will still be far from achieving the level of acting and quality that these three actors have individually and even more so together.

I'm just curious how old is the majority of the people who like this movie and also where they're from.

I'm 17 and I'm from Spain.

18, UK, just watched it now for the second time, watched it first a year ago when i started my phase of watching old movies, i think this was the third one i watched, the first two being audrey hepburn movies: Sabrina then Roman Holiday. I originally watched this just to check out Katharine Hepburn as she was named one of the greatest actresses of those times or something, and the plot sounded good, but that's when i fell in love with Jimmy Stewart, by the scene where he snoops round the house i was just taken. I loved the film, it was even better this second time round, will be watching it again sometime later in the future for sure. Loved Katharine and James, and the lady who's name i've already forgotten that played Liz, I'm yet to be impressed by Cary Grant though, although he was good, he just doesn't stand out that much for me.

At the moment I am 43. I first was introduced to this blessedly brilliant script when I was 14 and a Freshman in high school. It was the last play of the year that we were doing, and I was put in charge of costumes. We had the absolute best of our school's actors in each role. They all melded in my heart and made this script one of most loved pieces of literature for the rest of my life. We took a night and watched the film during the rehearsals of the show. I fell absolutely head over heels in love with this movie. I adore this movie so much, my kids even know the best lines as they have watched it numerous times. It is comedy perfection, and has the biggest heart in movies. This on my list second only to The Wizard of OZ. The fact that Mike is singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" as he carries Tracey back from the pool just tickles me every time, No matter how many times I see this, George will always be a skunk!

I'm over 60 from Los Angeles, and this is my all-time favorite film. The combination of great actors who have never been better and the witty dialogue simply cannot be beat. I am SO happy to see so many young responders to this thread.

I absolutely loved this film!!! What a cast, great acting, fantastic script and direction! Grant, Hepburn, and Stewart . . . .what a combo! Also, I really liked the little girl who said at the end, "I did it! I did it!" She was very good.
