I've just watched my copy of the Film4 broadcast, which I've had for about 3 years now!! Excellent, fun flick in wonderful, impressively stable early colour.

Having read the 'alternative versions' on here though, it mentions that a scene of Dekker killing Atwill is 'missing from most TV prints'. In the Film4 version you certainly see him knocking Atwill out with whatever chemical on a cloth, but nothing that actually shows him 'being murdered' as such. Was this the cut version?

I think the OP is referring to the killing of Dr Bullfinch. His murder was not shown on the copy of this movie that I watched.
