Good, but not a Noir

I found this amoungst a box set claiming to be British Crime and Noir.. OK, it clearly says crime AND Noir on the box, not just Noir... but neither were the others Noir.
If you want a reasonable collection of 'good' - but not brilliant-40's/50's crime films, you should be moderatly happy with this reasonably price set.. Sapphire, Hunted,Too long at the fair and Turn the key softly. Nothing to knock your socks off, and certainly not as good as you think it is going to be with the cast line up.. but enjoyable, as long as you on't expect Noir.

The word 'noir' helps sells old movies from the 1940s. I noticed that this film is usually categorized as drama only.
