Did anyone watch this on AMC?

I did, having never before seen it. I found it to be a bizarre sequel to be sure. It took far too much time to become interesting, and then was simply...odd. I really didn't like the sets in this one at all, and I am usually a huge fan of the look and style of the Universal classic monster films. The castle was bizarre and unrealistic in every way, actually causing me to be detracted from the slow moving plot as I pondered the deadliness of a stairwell like that! To boot, there wasn't even a death scene on the stairs! What I did enjoy was discovering that this film contributed greatly to many of the sequences in Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein, most notably the game of darts between Dr. Frankenstein and Inspector Krogh. All in all, I left this film very impressed with the character of Inspector Krogh as played by Lionel Atwill, but was rather unimpressed with the rest. The monster was well played by Karloff, and it was nice to see Bela as a demented Ygor, but still, I was overall disappointed.
