Not too many movies back then featured the tension between Native Americans, Mexicans, and White Americans. In addition, Mary was singing a lullaby to a Native American baby. Overall, I felt the film was pretty good. It held my interest. Always a delight to hear Jeanette and Nelson sing. Although their fame was decades before I was born.
