Sons of the Desert or Way Out West?

Some critics say Sons of the Desert is Laurel and Hardy's best film, I personally prefer Way out West (even though Sons of the Desert is absolutely hilarious).

"I you want to fool a Hardy youve got to get up very early in the morning"
"What time?"
"Oh about half past...what time...."

Which one do you guys prefer?

I'm slightly baffled that Sons of the Desert is rated by many as the best L&H feature length film. It has some great comedy moments, but the film feels a little stretched. I think it would've benefited from being trimmed to 30-40 minutes to make it a real classic.

Way Out West, on the other hand, I think is L&H's crowning glory. Crammed with hilarious scenes and two classic song and dance routines, the pace never stops.

Laurel and Hardly are rightly remembered as masters of the 20 minute short, but for me, Way Out West is their finest moment.

Clearly Sons of the Desert. Way Out West was slow to get started and even then it wasn't terribly funny. What made laugh, or snicker, was the chase for the deed and Stan being tickled, Stan singing, and some parts of the theft at the end.
