Tom Cruise, the newest Norman Maine

Just read that the film will be remade for the third time. Tom Cruise is playing the male lead. Beyonce is playing the female lead. I'm against it. Do we really need a fourth version of this movie? Even if the movie is made, I think Tom Cruise is wrong for the part.

If he drowns himself at the beginning I would watch it.

"I can't sit down. These aren't my pants."

melissa_bizz -- you are hilarious! I can't stop giggling about (and agreeing with!) your comment.

Oh goodness, I feel like vomiting after reading this bit of news. Both leads are deplorable.

Thank Goodness for a logical response!

The Artist http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1655442/ was pretty much the same story as A Star Is Born. It won like 5 oscars. So after success like that... we really don't need another remake of the story. Especially with Tom Cruise!

I think the obvious choice will be Charlie Sheen... Let him redeem is movie acting career... Let's forget about Beyonce... It would have been a good choice 5 or 7 years ago, I guess a new face or almost new face will be a better pick. Lily Collins for instance.

Obviously this is a joke but I don't get it. Cruise and Beyoncé??? What's he going to do climb her like a chimp on a tree.

PS: Bradley Cooper and Lady Gage made the fourth version.
