Hilarious!

Even though I love old movies, I'm still slightly wary of the OOP, lesser movies created by Hollywood's greatest stars. Needless to say, Breakfast For Two was not a disappointment. Eric Blore is as hilarious as usual, and Herbert Marshall and Barbara Stanwyck have excellent chemistry. I also love the "reform a playboy" theme and surprisingly, Barbara Stanwyck's character isn't a push-over: she fights, literally and figuratively, for Herbert Marshall's lazy, spendthrift character to stand up and take responsibility--and all without Valentine relinquishing her own strength. Highlights include: Eric Blore's "sign language"; the boxing scene; Valentine's uncle Sam; Donald Meek as the justice of the peace. This is a lesser-known effort, but it's just as great a screwball comedy as "Bringing Up Baby."

I'm not familiar with the abbreviation "OOP"...can you tell me what it means?

I concur, this movie was a totally funny escapade! Barbara Stanwyck, Herbert Marshall, and my favorite blonde Glenda Farrell, are just superb!! Made even more so by the great character actors Eric Blore, Donald Meek, Etienne Girardot, etc. Fully recommended at 9 rating!!

I agree. I just watched this for the first time and loved it. Non-stop fun from beginning to end, with memorable characters, including the great dane "Pee Wee". This film is a real gem and holds up well.

You've done some bad things, sweetie.

This was very good. Eric Blore was superb, as usual. What a great cast. I'd never heard of this movie before, but I'm so glad I caught it! It's a gem!
