This movie scared the bejesus out of parents and voters, and was classified as a illegal narcotic soon after.

While the effects of somking it were exaggerated (like laced with high grade crack) the film does hit on a true note of the corrosive effects drugs have on decision making/judgement and family.

Suprising sexuality, interesting to see life 84 years ago.
