Everybody has a butler

There was a depression and a lot of out of work butlers.

It's that man again!!

Powell's butler, played by Gene Lockhart, is seen giving dodgy looks throughout the film, as if we're being led to believe he's a suspect, but there's never any explanation of why he constantly looks so guilty.
