Queensboro bridge

I watched "Imitation of Life" (1934) and next day "Sleep, my Love" (1948) and in both movies, there are prominent scences with Claudette Colbert on a balcony facing the Queensboro bridge - 14 years apart.

"Sorry Wrong Number" was also made in the same year as „Sleep, my Love“ and here, Barbara Stanwyck's apartment faces the Queensboro bridge too.

But if you watch closely - the house in "Imitation of Life" would have been a bit closer to the bridge than in "Sleep, my love" and there would have been at least one or two buildings between Barbara Stanwycks house as the bridge is even further away seen from her apartment.
